Experts and Guides during Your Weekend Immersion
Meet Your Facilitators
Katie Hart, MS, LMHC, CN
Katie’s training encompasses a mind, body, spirit approach to mental health and nutrition. She believes that the power of nutrition and therapy can heal a person. Her background and passions have driven her to create a clinic where a person may grow using their own intuition and cultivating healing from a place within their own resources. She sees people as their own expert and uses techniques and tools to help people to better understand and create the change they desire.  Her unique approaches have helped many create sustainable change.
Michelle Benson, MS, CN
Michelle has a passion for helping individuals find the nutrition and lifestyle strategies that work best for their individual needs. She believes there is no one size fits all approach to health and considers a combination of her patients’ lived experiences, history, labs, current stressors, and preferences to generate plans and strategies catered to each of her patients. In addition to nutrition and lifestyle interventions, Michelle utilizes her past training in Eating Psychology to help patients understand why they eat the way they do and address various eating behaviors.
Karin Lund, MS, CN
Using food as medicine, Karin is dedicated to helping women treat the root cause of hormonal, menstrual and perimenopausal symptoms through evidence-based treatment and patient-centered functional medicine practices. Her clinical interests include PMS/PMDD and irregular menstrual cycles, endometriosis, PCOS, thyroid disorders, and perimenopausal challenges in addition to mood balance, adrenal fatigue, and food addiction. Karin works with women of all ages, to inspire them to live in balance, health, and peace. Learn more at www.becomingfiercelyfree.com.
Oriana Cozzolino, LCSW(A)
Oriana Noël Cozzolino, LSWAIC teaches Hatha yoga to support healing mind, body, and spirit. She provides trauma treatment therapy, incorporating yoga and meditation into her work with First Responders. She is the Resilience and Wellness Coordinator for the Thurston County Sheriff's Office, a member of the Region 3 Crisis Negotiation Team, and a volunteer with the Washington Department of Corrections Victim Assistance Program. She began her yoga journey with Joanna Cashman's Wild Grace, earning her RYT200 in 2012 and has since learned and taught with the Yoga Loft, Yoga Behind Bars (at the Washington State Corrections Center), and Yoga for First Responders.  Additionally, she was a faculty member with the International Trauma Treatment Program for seven years and currently teaches mediation with The Pierce County Center for Dialog & Resolution, the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, and South Puget Sound Community College. For joy, Oriana engages in authentic movement as a 5 Rhythms dancer and savors nature through PNW hiking with her husband. Learn more about Oriana by visiting her website, www.humanresolve.org.
Lindsay Stokes, Embodiment Facilitator
Lindsay believes that our relationship with food, body and movement is our greatest teacher. Her early struggles with accepting her body led her on a life path to explore her passions and purpose. Movement and creative expression have been an essential part of her life for over 30 years as she has explored, taught and performed various styles including salsa, hip-hop, contemporary, Latin fusion, GROOV3 and Groovalicious (a fusion of styles). Teaching dance for the past 16 years is one of the greatest joys of her life.
Learning to have a peaceful loving relationship with her body has been a lifelong journey. As we teach what we most need to learn, she has worked on various projects from facilitating workshops and presentations on body image and eating disorder awareness to leading body positive groups on a college campus and advising corporate executives on body positive marketing.
She has studied Health at Every Size, the Body Positive Movement and Fat Studies. She is now grateful to be a part of a 12-step spiritual program healing from her own addiction with food and helping others do the same.
