My week of Movement and Nutrtion♡ accountbaily helps.....post your plans here
🏃♂️ The Training Schedule: Taper & Relax
The goal this week is simple: keep the blood flowing, stay loose, and save all that explosive energy for Sunday.
Monday: Active Recovery
Action: Skip bootcamp (smart move!).
Movement: 1.5-hour gentle ride OR a relaxing walk on the Chambers Creek Trail. Keep it strictly low-effort.
Tuesday: Serene Spin
Action: 1-hour bike ride.
Vibe: Mostly serene, spinning easy. A few light hills are fine just to wake the legs up, but no grinding.
Wednesday: Easy Hike
Action: 1-hour easy hike (aiming for ~3 miles). Focus on steady, relaxed breathing.
Thursday: Easy Hike
Action: 1-hour easy hike (aiming for ~3 miles). Final bit of intentional movement before the big rest.
Friday: Full Rest Day
Action: Off. Put your feet up, stretch out, and let the muscles absorb the week's rest.
Saturday: Rest & Prep (With Movement)
Action: Off from official training, but lots of casual walking to keep from freezing up. Double-check your gear!
Sunday: 🚀 RIDE DAY! 😎
Action: You’ve arrived. Trust the taper, enjoy the fruits of your hard work, and crush it.
🥗 The Nutrition Plan: Recover & Fuel
You are giving your body a little extra food to rebuild, which is perfect for topping off your glycogen stores and repairing muscle tissues.
Daily Routine
Morning Spark: Coffee with your daily morning collagen.
Protein Boost: 1 protein shake daily—either mixed into your coffee or blended into a delicious berry smoothie.
Meals & Snacks
The Daily Power Meal: A massive salad loaded with fresh greens and topped with clean protein (chicken or tuna).
Whole Food Carbs: Integrating whole grains to make sure your muscles are fully loaded with fuel by Sunday morning.
On-the-Go Crunchy Snacks: A mix of snap peas, cauliflower, cucumbers, and broccoli.
Healthy Fats & Dips: Pairing those veggies with avocado goodness (guac) and hummus cups for a gut-friendly, satisfying crunch.
💧 The Hydration Goal
100 oz of water daily. It’s a big target, but even if you just get close, your muscles and joints will thank you on Sunday. Keep a designated water bottle next to you all day long!

Foods are all about the garden harvest right now: summer squash, cukes, snap peas, kale, carrots, beets, broccoli. And our chicken harvest last week has filled the freezer with good protein. Hopefully the hubby will be successful with his fishing to add to the goodness.
Stress is building around the babyshowers and wedding details so trying to stay in the moment while doing tasks and enjoy these big life moments with my son and daughter.
