Hello HartsSpacers,
It’s a new month! And we have exciting things happening. To kick off the beginning of the month, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite resources.
If you’re looking for a meditation and movement practice that allows you to also slow down and look inward, follow along the Yoga with Adriene calendar. Free yoga videos via youtube, that promote self compassion, intention setting, toning, and meditation. In fact, the theme for this month is “meditate.” The best part is, thousands of others participate together. Her first video is a quick 10 minute meditation and a beautiful ease into the calendar commitment. Check it out.
We’re in full fall theme and embracing the season of looking inward, wrapping up projects, and observing how even nature chooses to slow down and “die” sometimes. This season of change means we’re in the works of manifesting the inner fires that will eventually blossom. We’re embracing these seasons of change so much that we’re basing our retreat schedule around it! Keep an eye out for information regarding our first retreat, the second weekend in January.
Finally, this wouldn’t be a nutrition post without some talk about food. This week I prepared this beautiful salad for my lunches.

Katie meal prepped this harvest vegetable soup. Another beautiful recipe.
Something I have taken to heart in embracing the season change is emphasizing foods that naturally grow in their season. For fall, this makes for the best hearty meals that give a new satisfaction and variety you can only get this time of year.
I’ll leave you with this lovely quote.
“Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day.”
-Shira Tamir
Yes, the days are dark and the rain will be vast… But remember there is beauty hidden beyond the shadows. Happy Autumn.
