Morning wisdom from HartsSpace

Take the time to sit. Be intentional with your time and your words.

The morning is the perfect time to be quiet,

reflective, and gently awaken your body.

This week reminded me that sometimes the strongest choice is to do a little less. I backed off my training to let my hip and knee heal. I still moved every day and kept my routines, and I think that's one of the biggest keys to long-term success.

Consistency doesn't always mean pushing harder. Sometimes it means resisting the urge to do more and choosing what your body actually needs.

During meditation this morning, I was reminded to cherish these moments—to take 20 minutes to stretch, breathe, move, and be grateful for all the ways my body continues to show up for me.

Today I'm deeply excited, and a little nervous, as I always am before our gatherings. Part of me wants everything to be smooth and perfect.

Then I remember there is no perfect. There is only what is... and that is enough.

The same is true for my health, my fitness, and my life.

Perfect as it is. Uniquely mine.

Today I choose presence over perfection, gratitude over striving, and trust over control.
