Silence and Inspiration, oh and my plan for health this week♡♡♡♡
The Practice of Silence
There is something powerful about intentionally creating space for silence and quiet reflection.
Across many traditions and practices, there is a definite time devoted to silence—to turning inward, quieting the outside world, and simply listening.
And silence can mean something different for each of us.
It might be a drive with no music or podcast.
A walk in nature.
A few minutes of deep breathing before bed.
Snuggling quietly with your children or pets.
Knitting.
Drinking your morning coffee.
Sitting in the sun.
It doesn't have to be complicated.
Silence gives our minds and nervous systems an opportunity to reset.
When we turn down the constant input, something else can emerge.
We can let some of the noise go and begin to hear our own intuition again.
What do I need today?
Where do I want to put my energy?
What matters most?
I start my mornings with quiet and coffee. I have found that when my mind is clearer, the plans and intentions for my day—and my week—come much more easily.
And after a GREAT hike up Mt. Townsend yesterday—8 miles and about 3,000 feet of climbing—I'm heading into this week feeling strong and grateful.
My Plan for the Week
Monday: 5-mile dog walk
Tuesday: Bike + heavy weights
Wednesday: Bootcamp + gym
Thursday–Saturday: Backpacking at the beach
Sunday: UNBREAKABLE Assessment + trail run at Mima or Millersylvania
As always, the plan is a guide, not a demand.
It gives me direction while leaving room to listen to my body, my mind, and what the week actually brings.
Maybe this week, alongside your movement and health goals, consider creating a little intentional silence.
Turn down the noise. Go inward. Listen.
You may be surprised by what you hear when you finally give yourself enough quiet to hear it.

Totally!
Getting back into a grove i think takes more effort that continuing momentum.
Its like water and things in motion. It takes more intention to start again.....and its worth it, but that deliberate intention is key! Thats why we do it together and I am glad you feel better.
And nice job balancing silence and solitude with community
