Hello all! Super grateful to be here with you.
At 60 years I am looking at the last frames of my life and I would like to make them physically active, in community, with purpose, peace and serenity....
I've been waiting to be able to see my grandkids more, but the universe has something else in mind for me, and I want to lean into it!
I'm at the end of a career in dental hygiene.... coming full circle with Lifeguard training currently in training,[again interrupting my ability to attend the gathering scheduled this Saturday!] and teaching swimming lessons just like when I was a teenager!
At the end of May I signed up as a complete beginner to start team rowing. One of my dental patients, my age who loves to row was sharing about it. It is supposed to be good on the "old" joints etc. and they work out all year long. Out of the water in winter and in the water spring, summer and fall. What a great way to be in the outdoors, too!
Here is the link to check it out. https://www.olympiaarearowing.org/
I'm signed up for May 30 & 31.
I also love gardening, mostly flowers, but want to learn more about food. One thing I love is to share perennials and other starts.
Another goal I have is to complete a mini [micro mini if possible!] triathlon. I am going to do one on July 11th but that is a day that is scheduled for a HartsSpace meetup so I will search for other ones in case anyone is also interested in joining!
I have a guitar that sits in the corner of my house ready for me to pick it up and start practicing even 5 minutes per day.
I don't want to have any regrets when I am on my deathbed. Yikes, that got dark, but you know, I just really want to take a risk and put myself out there and maybe someone else can relate.
Have a blessed day and look forward to watching this community grow and be a part of it.
Thankyou @Katie Hart & @Michelle Benson & @Stefanee McDonald for all the work you do and for making this happen for all of us 💞

Thank you so much for sharing your heart your strength your hope and your journey with this group. I love all the invitations to join in and be in community in our healing as we absolutely believe that that is a game changer for health and consistency. Deanna you've been a remarkable example and I can't wait to connect with you on one of these Journeys I'd love to try and do a triathlon and I wish the first one wasn't during the summer Gathering. I can't wait to see your adventures
